I’m looking for a select number of people to be a part of this Model Call – open to all women and even couples boudoir. Storyteller Collective Boudoir is an INCLUSIVE studio that is LGBTQ+IA & BIPOC friendly, and I’ve photographed people from all walks of life, orientations, and skins tones. Photography is an art form, and I believe that everyone deserves their own unique experience of being in front of the camera. I am looking for REAL people, you DON’T have to be a model to apply. As always, I will prompt and pose you fully, so you don’t need to worry about that! Does this sound like a fun time? I hope so! That’s what it’s all about. I’m excited to see your application!
The Details and What you need to know
LOCATION: The Shoot will take place at the newly re-located studio in Des Moines, Iowa. If your application is chosen, when you arrive to your session, please come makeup and hair ready to begin on time. As mentioned, no modeling experience is required. In fact, I love it when my Model Call clients are like regular people. It makes the Boudoir experience even more fun and relaxed.
AGE REQUIREMENT: You must be 18+ years of age, and may be asked to show proof with a state or government issued ID, if there is any question of age. Due to the nature of this type of photography, there are laws that I have to abide by, age being one of them.
BOOKING FEE: Discounted $250 Retainer Booking Fee to schedule your session that includes 10 complimentary edited digital photos (no pressure to purchase any products, but Payment Plans are available including the PrePayment Plan, In-House interest-free Payments, and AfterPay through Square if you qualify). All products and digital files must be paid in-full before they will be ordered and delivered.
MODEL RELEASE: You agree to a FULL MODEL RELEASE on all images taken at your session, if you are selected. The images will be used for marketing/promotional purposes, displayed in both print and digital format at the photographer’s discretion. This is because the purpose of the Model Call is for sharing the photos and you are receiving a discounted price. If at any time, you decide you’d like to keep your images private, you’ll need to pay for the full session fee + 10 edited photos.

This go round, I am offering Themes in addition to the typical boudoir shots. If you want to use this option, you get to pick one from the following: Sweater, Sheet Set, or Couples Boudoir. Select this in your application if choosing one. Get 10% off your Collection when using a Theme and paying by the day of your scheduled Model Call session. * Collections are discounted for the Model Call ONLY. Ala Carte Products are full price. 7% IA Sales tax will be added to all services and product purchases.

Next Steps: the application
After filling in the form, I will review all submissions and respond to those selected within 1-2 days. So be looking for an email from me, I will reach out even if you aren’t chosen this time. If you are selected for the Model Call, I will send you a proposal for the session, to sign the contract and pay your retainer. And then I will begin planning the shoot with you.
